The PoopReading.com Top Ten TV Shows of the 2010-2011 Season

by Tenessa Gemelke, Brandon Kruse, Joe Mulder, Jameson Simmons, & Mike Wagner

If you spent last week reading each individual PoopReading.com contributor's Top Ten TV list – and if you didn't, then shame on you – then you have a pretty good idea of what the best shows on TV are.

But then, why settle for having merely a "pretty good idea" when you could know definitively?

Please enjoy the 2011 PoopReading.com Top Ten TV Shows, as arrived at by combining each of our Top Ten lists and assigning ten points to a show that was ranked #1, nine points to a show that was ranked #2, and so on.

Also, this Top Ten list contains 11 items (due to ties). Hey, the Big Ten conference had 11 teams for quite a while; it's not that weird. Deal with it.

[It should be noted that all of us either are, or will very soon be, married people who have very small children. As such, we cannot watch quite as much TV as we desperately wish we could. So, if your favorite show is ranked lower than you think it should be, it's probably just because some of us simply haven't been able to get to it yet. Although, looking at our list, if your favorite show isn't even on here then you probably need to get a new favorite show. Because these eleven are pretty much the best.]

    1. "Breaking Bad" (AMC) – 9 points
    1. "Dexter" (Showtime) – 9 points
    1. "30 Rock" (NBC) – 9 points
    1. "Friday Night Lights" (DirecTV/NBC) – 10 points
    1. "Mad Men" (AMC) – 10 points
    1. "Bob's Burgers" (FOX) – 12 points

    1. "Modern Family" (ABC) – 28 points
